We are currently looking for team leaders to join our adult and youth services. This is a role in our houses based in the community you work with the House Manager to lead a small team of Support Workers. You will be working alongside people with intellectual disabilities with the belief that they can do anything and can learn to be able and independent. This role would be well suited for those wanting to progress in their career towards a House Manager, you will be supported by your House Manager and Service Manager in achieving your goals.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be compassionate, respectful, and person-centred.
  • Have strong leadership skills, able to manage a small team with oversight from the House Manager
  • Have good communication skills, be able to communicate clearly and appropriately with a range of people, and be able to maintain accurate records and progress notes.
  • Be trustworthy and have high ethical standards, and be able to respect confidentiality and privacy.
  • Remain calm and positive when supporting people with diverse and complex needs.
  • Have relevant experience or qualifications.
  • Be physically and emotionally well suited to a hands-on support environment.
