Day Activities Leader - Art Studio
The Hōhepa community supports people with intellectual disabilities. Being a part of Hōhepa is being a part of a whānau. Our staff work alongside the people we support as they journey to live their life to the fullest.

Are you a creative connector, innovator, and love to inspire people? We are looking for you! As a Day Activities Leader you will support people (with your wider Hōhepa Whānau) to find and follow their aspirations and dreams; to find meaningful occupation and vocation to contribute to their local community, making friends, having fun, continuing to grow personally, to find work, and participate meaningfully based on interests and strength.
This is a role developing and facilitating a new creative space alongside existing Studios and Activities. You may have a background in creative art, facilitating workshops and have established connections with the local artistic community. You will be a natural leader looking to grow this new space!
One day you will be supporting people to explore painting and the next it will be digital art! You need to be a natural teacher, be observant and intuitive, genuinely respectful and appreciative of diversity, and be kind, engaging, and patient.
A key requirement of this role will involve transporting our people, we are looking for people who hold a current full driver's licence.
