The Hōhepa community supports people with intellectual disabilities. Being a part of Hōhepa is being a part of a whānau. Our staff work alongside the people we support as they journey to live their life to the fullest.

You must already hold the right to work in Aotearoa New Zealand. We are not providing visa support for this role.

Are you a connector, innovator, and love to inspire people? We are looking for you, as a Day activities facilitator you will support people (with your wider Hōhepa Whānau) to find and follow their needs and dreams; making friends, having fun, connecting and contributing to their local communities, continuing to grow personally, and to find work, education, and other meaningful occupation. We are looking for people who are energetic and passionate. People with hobbies and interests and skills that they will enjoy sharing with others. It could be drama, music, art, dance, crafts, the environment, horticulture, sports or something completely different. You need to be a natural teacher, be observant and intuitive, genuinely respectful and appreciative of diversity, and be kind, fun and patient. That's a big ask, so we need a really special team. A key requirement of this role will involve transporting our people, we are looking for people who hold a current full driver's licence.
