Customer Service Assistant

The Customer Service Assistant is a pivotal role linking production and final delivery to the customer.

  • Great communication skills and a team-focused approach.
  • Experience in retail or customer service (POS, transactions)
  • Ability to understand customers and build strong relationships.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with flexibility to adapt.
  • Passion for enabling independence and creating meaningful opportunities.
  • Interest in organic/biodynamic practices and sustainability.

Key tasks:

  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of our retail shops and markets.
  • Deliver an authentic visitor experience, sharing the Hōhepa story through our products and produce.
  • Create meaningful work opportunities alongside the people we support.
  • Ensure timely order fulfilment and excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborate with production teams to showcase our story and delight customers.
  • Manage stock and keep shelves looking great and on-brand.  
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and health & safety compliance.
  • Be a role model and champion of Hōhepa’s special character.
